About The Position

This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist I (OR CVOR Tech) in Austell, GA. The assignment is for 13 contract weeks and starts on 08/24/2026. The role involves supporting diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures in a hospital setting, with training provided to work alongside physicians in the cath lab/EP lab. The position offers a weekly pay range of $1,681 to $1,747 for 36 hours per week on a day shift, 12-hour schedule.

Requirements

Willingness to complete orientation and achieve competency check-offs before participating in call rotation.
Ability to care for adults 18–65 and geriatric patients over 65.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and capable of working the listed shift in a hospital setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on sterile technique and patient safety.

Nice To Haves

Prior cath lab or interventional experience is not required initially.

Responsibilities

Assist during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab/EP lab, under supervision, and operate specialized equipment as trained.
Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards throughout procedures; prepare and assist with instrument handling and room setup.
Collaborate with the Cath_EP Lab Manager/Director to maintain a safe, efficient environment for adult and geriatric patients.
Participate in cath or EP call rotation once appropriately oriented and checked off on clinical and operational competencies.
Support documentation of procedural steps and contribute to equipment turnover and patient safety initiatives as assigned.
