Requirements
- Ability to work in an operating room environment
- Active Cardiovascular Technologist credential or license, or eligibility per state requirements
- BLS certification or ability to obtain
- Willingness to meet credentialing and background checks
- Eligible for travel assignments and compliant with assignment requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in preparation of procedures in the operating room
- Prepare surgical cases by creating and maintaining a sterile field
- Retract and pass instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons during cases
- Maintain supplies and perform a variety of technical tasks as directed during procedures
- Support instrument counts and equipment readiness to promote smooth case flow
