About The Position
Johns Hopkins Intrastaff, the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, provides temporary staffing support across Johns Hopkins locations. This advanced practice provider (APP) works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive, age-appropriate care to well and/or ill patients, educate patients, and intervene in acute or chronic illness. The position serves a 4–6-patient assignment in an 18–22-bed CVSICU. The schedule is PRN, with no call requirements.
Requirements
- Current acute care nurse practitioner license or board-certified physician assistant.
- EPIC experience.
- Experience caring for the CVSICU patient population.
- ACLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary health team.
- Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate care to well and/or ill patients.
- Educate patients and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness.
- Care for a 4–6-patient assignment in an 18–22-bed CVSICU.
