About The Position

The Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist performs advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures under the general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist, in collaboration with the Cath Lab Medical Director, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff. The role also serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and medical staff; participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities; and provides age-appropriate care, including assisting with data collection and care delivery, for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

This per diem position is based at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, California, and works 10-hour day shifts. Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT school or equivalent education/experience.
• California Radiologic Technologist credential upon hire.
• National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Additional training in angiocardiography or equivalent education/experience.
• Advanced ARRT registration in Cardiovascular and Interventional Imaging upon hire.
• Two years of experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital.
