Car Wash Associate - Linda Vista
About The Position
As a Car Wash Associate, you will prepare, guide, and load vehicles into the wash tunnel while ensuring the location has clean towels and equipment is functioning properly. You will provide an excellent customer experience by anticipating customer needs, building relationships, maintaining safety, multitasking, and adapting to change. The role is primarily outdoors and is presented as a starting point for developing leadership skills and potentially advancing into management. The work involves servicing vehicles with bug spray and guiding them into the tunnel, maintaining location cleanliness, assisting customers, and handling vehicles with care. The position involves frequent interaction with colleagues and customers and a fast pace, especially during peak hours.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to various weather conditions.
- Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to perform prolonged standing and walking, manual tasks, and equipment operation, with stamina and endurance throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Service vehicles with bug spray while guiding them into the wash tunnel.
- Maintain location cleanliness, including sweeping, replenishing, mopping, cleaning, and minor landscaping as directed by leadership.
- Assist customers with requests to enhance their experience.
- Exceed customer expectations by being friendly and handling vehicles with extreme care.
- Help ensure the location is equipped with clean towels and that equipment is functioning properly.
