About The Position
Hill Bros Logistics is hiring an entry-level Capacity Coordinator to support dry van and reefer freight operations. Based in the Omaha, Nebraska area, the role involves coordinating shipments, working with carrier partners, and resolving problems in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. The position is available from the Omaha or Lincoln office. The company offers hands-on learning, supportive leadership, and opportunities to grow. Requirements
- College education, with a focus on or interest in business, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized under pressure.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook, and learning logistics systems.
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to grow.
Nice To Haves
- Previous logistics experience.
- TMW Suite software experience.
Responsibilities
- Contact trucking carriers daily by phone and email to match freight with available capacity.
- Negotiate transportation rates and secure reliable carriers.
- Track and trace loads to support on-time pickup and delivery.
- Build relationships with carriers and identify opportunities to grow the carrier network.
- Enter shipment updates and carrier information accurately and in real time.
- Collaborate with account managers and logistics coordinators to deliver service.
