About The Position

The Campus Recruiter serves as a talent consultant and business partner, developing and executing recruitment strategies to identify and secure top-tier talent at core schools nationwide. The role represents Clark Construction on campus and owns university partnerships and the strategic direction of the entry-level talent pipeline. It collaborates with operations and hiring teams to align campus recruitment with business needs and Clark’s mission and values. The recruiter builds lasting relationships with academic leadership and campus influencers, develops early-identification initiatives, and manages an end-to-end, candidate-first recruitment experience. The position includes a consistent physical presence at core campuses, local offices, and active construction sites, as well as travel of up to 50% during peak recruitment seasons. This is an in-office role, not hybrid or remote, and reports to Clark’s National Campus Recruiting Director, with support from other HR team members. The work includes both office duties and active-site visits. Site work can involve uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, hoists, weather exposure, moderate to loud noise, moving mechanical equipment, and elevated or confined spaces. The role requires frequent standing and movement, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting or carrying materials up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The position is in a demanding, high-performance environment that may require extended hours and responsiveness to time-sensitive matters or emergencies outside regular working hours. Pre-employment and random quarterly drug fitness-for-duty screenings are required.
