About The Position

Polestar Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is hiring a Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher in Merriam, Kansas. The role supports the company’s plumbing, heating, and cooling services by assisting customers, coordinating service appointments and technician dispatching, and providing administrative support to field teams. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient service delivery and a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must have night and weekend availability; this is not a Monday-Friday position.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Basic computer proficiency and data-entry skills.
Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, or home service industry terminology.
Experience with dispatching and CRM software such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer calls and provide professional, empathetic service.
Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician dispatching using ServiceTitan and other software platforms.
Communicate with customers, technicians, and internal departments to support efficient service delivery.
Follow up with customers about completed work, open service requests, and warranty-related concerns.
Resolve customer concerns and complaints with a solution-focused approach.
Maintain accurate customer records, job information, and billing details.
Assist field teams with scheduling updates, customer communication, and administrative support.
