About The Position

Big Sandy Superstore is seeking a Call Center Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role is crucial to the company's success by ensuring customers have an exceptional experience, leading to repeat business and referrals. The primary focus is on assisting customers with warranty issues, product concerns, and order processing to guarantee satisfaction with their purchases and the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Strong computer skills with efficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Evenings and Weekends required

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with product or service information.
  • Open new work orders by greeting customers, obtaining necessary invoice information, and efficiently processing the work order.
  • Verify unit warranties and email warranty companies for verification if necessary.
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate department (scheduling, triage, etc.).
  • Note work orders with necessary details (technician initials, warranty information, etc.).
  • Ensure work orders are placed in the proper status and job type within Dispatchtrack.
  • Look up existing work orders by greeting customers, obtaining necessary information, and verifying customer requests (part eta, status update, etc.).
  • Determine if a call needs to be transferred to another department.
  • Verify customer's address and phone numbers before transferring a call.
  • Complete additional assigned tasks within the agreed-upon timeframe.
