About The Position

The Cage Shift Manager is responsible for Cage and Credit operations during an assigned shift. The role includes effective scheduling, completing accountability and compliance duties and paperwork, and ensuring effective service and coordination. The manager schedules, coaches, and evaluates Main Cage, Banks, and Booths for optimal performance and service; maintains proper accountability of funds; coordinates with managers and supervisors in other departments; promotes outstanding guest service and resolves guest issues; and performs credit and check-cashing duties within authorized levels. The position may also be assigned other duties by the Cage/Credit Manager.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Previous Cage, Credit, and Collection experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications and/or licenses required by local gaming regulations.
• Extensive computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• PC and data-entry experience.
• Ability to comprehend simple written and verbal instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cage and Credit operations during the assigned shift.
• Schedule, coach, and evaluate Main Cage, Banks, and Booths for performance and service.
• Ensure proper accountability of funds during the shift.
• Complete required shift accountability and compliance paperwork.
• Coordinate with managers and supervisors in other departments to ensure timely, courteous service.
• Promote outstanding guest service and resolve guest-related issues.
• Perform credit and check-cashing duties within authorized levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Cage/Credit Manager.
