Cafeteria Shift Supervisor
About The Position
The Cafeteria Shift Supervisor monitors sanitation and product standards and supervises staff to provide cafeteria patrons with high-quality food service. The role oversees inventory and storage, supports a range of operational tasks, and prepares and monitors the departmental budget. The supervisor develops department staff, manages performance against job accountabilities and department goals, and follows university, campus, and department policies and procedures. The role may also supervise student employees to support their academic and professional development. The successful candidate must live or relocate to within daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus upon hire.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience working in hospitality, foodservice, or another related area.
- Obtain and maintain a food safety managers certification approved by the Conference for Food Protection.
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Must live or relocate to within daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus upon hire.
