Cafe Team Member - Fowler Honda Norman
About The Position
Fowler Honda Norman is seeking a team member for its Kaizen Cafe. The role focuses on welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service while taking and preparing food orders, handling cash, and maintaining clean kitchen and dining areas. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with days varying and alternating Saturdays. The position requires a Food Handlers Card Permit. The physical demands include frequent standing, walking, and sitting; regular use of hands and arms; and lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The role also requires the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence, write simple correspondence, and present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food Handlers Card Permit.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations.
- Ability to meet the role’s physical demands, including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, handling items, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience in food retail is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Take food orders and prepare food in accordance with state health regulations and requirements.
- Handle cash and ensure the cash drawer balances at the end of each shift change.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise, referring dissatisfied customers to appropriate individuals for resolution when necessary.
