About The Position
Bean Sprouts Café is a women-owned, award-winning café concept located inside family destinations, including children’s museums, science centers, and amusement parks. The café focuses on serving appealing, nutritious food to children and creating a happier mealtime for adults. The company is rapidly expanding and offers advancement and leadership growth opportunities, including promotion from within. The Cafe Team Member supports the day-to-day café operations and provides an exceptional guest experience. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders and payments, preparing food and beverages, and keeping the dining area and front of house clean and sanitized.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and dedication to excellent customer service.
- Have a Food Handlers Permit, or be willing to obtain one with the company’s assistance.
- Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with or without accommodation.
- Successfully pass a criminal background screen to meet position eligibility.

- Food service or retail experience.
- Back-of-house or kitchen experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests enthusiastically and provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Take orders, receive payments, and assist guests.
- Prepare food and beverages.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized dining area and front of house.
- Perform additional tasks needed to run day-to-day café operations as assigned.
