About The Position

Bean Sprouts Café is located inside Kohl Children's Museum. Bean Sprouts is a women-owned, award-winning café concept serving family destinations, with a focus on healthy food and a positive mealtime experience. The café is seeking enthusiastic team members with food service or retail experience and a passion for customer service and the Bean Sprouts culture. Part-time opportunities are available on weekdays and/or weekends, with seasonal work available over school breaks. The role supports day-to-day café operations.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and dedication to excellent customer service.
• Have a Food Handlers Permit; Bean Sprouts will help obtain one if needed.
• Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with or without accommodation.
• Successfully pass a criminal background screen to meet position eligibility.

Nice To Haves

• Food service or retail experience.
• Back-of-house or kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests enthusiastically and provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Take orders, receive payments, and assist guests.
• Prepare food and beverages.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized dining area and front of house.
• Perform additional tasks needed to run day-to-day café operations as assigned.
