About The Position
Bean Sprouts Café, located inside the Marbles Kids Museum, is seeking part-time Café Team Members. Bean Sprouts is a women-owned café concept serving family destinations and emphasizes wholesome food, a positive mealtime experience, and opportunities for advancement and leadership growth. The role is suited to people with food service or retail experience, a positive attitude, and an interest in the Bean Sprouts culture and customer experience. Weekday and/or weekend schedules are available, and seasonal work during school breaks may be available.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and dedication to excellent customer service.
- Possess a Food Handlers Permit, or be willing to obtain one with the company's help.
- Be able to reach, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods, with or without accommodation.
- Successfully pass a criminal background screen to meet position eligibility.
Nice To Haves
- Food service or retail experience.
- Back-of-house or kitchen experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests enthusiastically and provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Take orders, receive payments, and assist guests.
- Prepare food and beverages.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized dining area and front of house.
- Perform additional tasks needed to support day-to-day café operations as assigned.
Benefits
