About The Position

Friendship Village of Dublin is seeking a part-time Server for its Culinary Department. The role provides high-quality service and helps build meaningful relationships with residents and their guests. Available hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Fine-dining experience is preferred, but training is provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to interpret and explain the menu, answer or refer questions, coordinate meal service, and understand requests.
• Ability to work cooperatively with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors, and peers, using courtesy, tact, and graciousness.

Nice To Haves

• Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant, or club, preferably in a fine-dining setting; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests, and answer questions about menu items.
• Set tables and keep workstations properly maintained.
• Take orders and provide requested items graciously and courteously.
• Deliver food promptly and attend to guests throughout their dining experience.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service.
• Provide consistently high levels of customer service, adapting to the needs and service expectations of each dining location.
• Assist with dishwashing and distribution of clean dishes when needed.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work areas.
• Meet personal hygiene standards and comply with the department dress code.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks.
• Attend assigned in-service training and education sessions.
• Perform other specific duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
