About The Position

Savory is a full-service boutique hospitality firm focused on elevating corporate dining through fresh, reliable food experiences and hospitality excellence. The Café Attendant will work at one of Savory’s onsite amenity cafés, collaborating with the Savory team and directly serving the onsite client. The role emphasizes hospitality, guest service, food and beverage quality, and health and safety standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience crafting drinks in a high-volume environment, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
• Strong guest experience and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to use quick thinking and conflict-resolution skills to address guest issues in accordance with Savory brand standards.
• Team-oriented approach, warm personality, and honest values.
• NY Food Handler’s Certification, or willingness to obtain it within one month of hire.
• Ability to maintain a stationary position and stand for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to work a flexible daytime schedule Monday through Sunday, occasionally including nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Craft specialty drinks, coffee, tea, and smoothies.
• Assemble hot and cold food options according to Savory standards and food safety rules.
• Provide warm hospitality and high-quality service while maintaining professionalism.
• Educate guests and team members about food and beverage offerings and represent the brand.
• Promptly report machine or technology issues, inventory shortages, and client dissatisfaction to a supervisor or manager on duty.
• Maintain awareness of cleanliness throughout the food establishment.
• Support the team in other areas as necessary.
