About The Position

At Main Event, Café Attendants provide exceptional experiences by helping Guests select a quick bite before their next activity. They know the menu, make recommendations, understand recipes and operational standards, and use equipment and utensils appropriately. They are dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.

The role includes welcoming Guests, recommending menu items, preparing and delivering food and beverages, processing payments, and performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties. Café Attendants are expected to help create a fun Guest experience while upholding cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and greet Guests while serving as an ambassador of fun.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Prepare quick-service food and beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate Guests’ needs.
• Process payment transactions and welcome Guests back.
• Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties.
