About The Position

CUI Cable Services is hiring an entry-level Cable Technician to install and service telecommunications equipment at customer homes. The company provides paid, hands-on training, tools, equipment, uniforms, a company vehicle, a fuel card, and a company cell phone. No cable experience is required; candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. The role involves installing and troubleshooting residential Internet, TV, Phone, and Security services while providing a positive customer experience. Compensation is performance-based, with advertised earnings of $800–$1,200+ per week. CUI Cable Services is a veteran-owned and minority-owned company that promotes from within and offers opportunities to advance into Lead Technician, Quality Control, Supervisor, Trainer, and management roles.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be at least 23 years old.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
Comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 feet.
Able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends.
Reliable, dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable using technology, customer-focused, self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Install, activate, and troubleshoot residential Internet, TV, Phone, and Security services.
Diagnose and resolve service issues efficiently.
Educate customers about their equipment and services.
Test signal quality and ensure installations meet company standards.
Complete upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Document completed work accurately using mobile applications.
Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Continue developing skills through ongoing training and certifications.
