About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and handles point-of-sale transactions at the store. The role includes greeting customers, helping provide a pleasant shopping experience, and maintaining the store’s cleanliness, organization, and appearance. The cashier also stocks and cleans the store, maintains the gas pumps and exterior, and supports team members. The position requires managing multiple tasks, communicating effectively, and staying composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. No supervisory responsibilities are assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Provide required jurisdictional work cards before the start date.

• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and interpret English-language documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication skills may also be required.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.
