About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and supports a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, processing point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining the store and gas-pump areas. The role requires a friendly, dependable, customer-focused person who communicates effectively, works well with a team, multitasks, and remains composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and interpret English documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance from others.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
• Maintain the store's appearance, keeping it clean, neat, and organized.
• Process accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store.
• Support team members and promote a positive team environment.
