About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store, providing customer service and helping guests have a positive shopping experience. The role includes greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, supporting retail sales, and maintaining the store and gas pumps. Candidates should be friendly, dependable, customer-focused, effective communicators, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 lbs., and stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
• Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring it is clean, neat, organized, and welcoming.
• Process accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the store's exterior.
