About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store, providing customer service and helping guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, supporting retail sales, and maintaining the store and gas pump areas. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and contributes to a positive team environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. No supervisory responsibilities are assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication skills may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Able to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities
