About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store and provides exceptional customer service to help guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting them, and accurately processing point-of-sale transactions. The cashier also helps maintain the store’s appearance, cleanliness, organization, and stock, as well as the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the exterior. The position requires multitasking and composure in a fast-paced environment, a positive attitude, teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Provide required jurisdictional work cards before the start date.
• Valid Health Card.
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English, including interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
