About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and supports a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, assisting with retail sales, and processing point-of-sale transactions. The role also involves maintaining the store’s appearance and cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and keeping the gas pumps and exterior areas clean. The cashier works with team members and is expected to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work cards required by the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date, and valid Health and Alcohol Awareness Cards are required. Employees must be able to read and communicate verbally in English and understand written instructions and procedures. The work environment typically has moderate noise. Physical demands include standing for long periods and being able to lift up to 45 pounds, stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
