About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and helping guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with retail sales, and accurately handling point-of-sale transactions. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and contributes positively to a team. Candidates must be able to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment, and be willing and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

The employee is responsible for maintaining the store’s appearance and cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and cleaning and managing the gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Required credentials include a valid Health Card and a valid Alcohol Awareness Card. Any work cards required by the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date. The work environment generally has a moderate noise level. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, lifting up to 45 pounds, and standing, stooping, lifting, wiping, reaching, and typing without assistance.
