About The Position

As a Cashier, you are the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and helping ensure each guest has a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with retail sales, and handling point-of-sale transactions. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, and performs well under pressure. A positive attitude, teamwork, multitasking, and composure in a fast-paced environment are important. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-form instructions and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance from others.

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant experience, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers.
• Maintain the store’s appearance so it is clean, neat, and organized.
• Accurately process customer transactions at the point of sale.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store.
• Support team members and promote a positive team environment.
