About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and supports the daily operation of the store. The role includes greeting customers, helping them have a positive shopping experience, processing accurate point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining the store’s appearance and cleanliness. The cashier also stocks and cleans the store, maintains the gas pumps and exterior, and supports teammates in a positive team environment.

The position requires a friendly, dependable, customer-focused team member who can communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and remain composed in a fast-paced or uncertain environment. The role requires flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. There are no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
