About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and helps ensure guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with retail sales and point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the store’s appearance, and supporting the team. Candidates should be dependable, customer-focused, communicative, and able to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. A valid Health Card and valid Alcohol Awareness Card are required. Work cards required by the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date. The work environment is usually moderately noisy. Physical demands include standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds, as well as stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers.
• Maintain the store’s appearance, keeping it clean, neat, and organized.
• Complete accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the store’s outside appearance.
