About The Position
As a Cashier, you are the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and helping ensure every guest has a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, supporting retail sales, and accurately handling point-of-sale transactions. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and demonstrates a positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong commitment to service. The position requires multitasking and composure in a fast-paced environment, as well as flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. Work cards required by the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Employees must hold a valid Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card and be able to read and communicate in English. The work environment is usually moderately noisy. Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 45 pounds, and standing, stooping, lifting, wiping, reaching, and typing without assistance.

- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
