About The Position

The Butler provides bespoke experiences and services to fulfill guest needs before arrival, at check-in, throughout the stay, and upon departure. Working in partnership with other hotel departments, the Butler coordinates Butler Valets and verifies that departments supporting Butler services are equipped to meet guest needs. The role builds rapport with guests, proactively anticipates their needs, and acts on them where possible.

Butlers serve as luxury ambassadors for the St. Regis Butler program, delivering high-touch, personalized, creative service. Success requires a passion for service, uncompromising standards, the ability to anticipate needs, and impeccable interpersonal skills. Team members are also expected to create a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards, and maintain professional uniforms, appearance, and communications. The role involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and hands-on work with objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, along with other reasonable duties as requested.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of related work experience.
• Passion for service, uncompromising standards, ability to anticipate guest needs, and impeccable interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
