Butler - St. Regis
About The Position
The Butler provides bespoke experiences and services to fulfill guest needs before arrival, at check-in, throughout the stay, and upon departure, partnering with other hotel departments. The role coordinates the efforts of Butler Valets and verifies that departments supporting Butler services are equipped to meet guest needs. Butlers build rapport with guests, proactively anticipate their needs, and act on them where possible. As luxury ambassadors and the primary face of the St. Regis Butler program, they deliver high-touch, personalized, creative, and original service. The position requires a passion for service, uncompromising standards, the ability to anticipate needs, and impeccable interpersonal skills. Butler team members are expected to create a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards, and maintain professional uniforms, personal appearance, and communications. The work involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and hands-on tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, along with other reasonable duties as requested.
Requirements
- Six months of related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended time.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Passion for service, uncompromising standards, ability to anticipate needs, and impeccable interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
