Busser - Part Time

About The Position

The Busser clears plates during and after service, resets tables, serves water when guests arrive, and refills water and bread throughout service. The role also includes maintaining a clean workspace, completing an end-of-shift checklist, and performing other duties assigned by a manager. Employees are expected to follow Sycamore’s policies and procedures, serve as role models, maintain a positive and respectful attitude, arrive on time and prepared, participate in monthly safety training, and demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Requirements

California Food Handler card and Responsible Beverage Service training.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Basic typing skills and ability to operate standard office equipment, including a copier, fax, telephone, and calculator.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, POS, and payroll systems.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work in stressful situations.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods or an entire shift; perform repetitive motions; climb stairs; balance; stoop, squat, bend, twist, and kneel; and reach, grasp, and squeeze with both hands.
Ability to talk or hear and taste or smell.
Ability to occasionally lift, move, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and evenings.
