About The Position

Renaissance Boston Patriot Place Hotel, a Colwen Hotels property, is hiring friendly, customer-focused full-time Bussers. Bussers help maintain clean and well-stocked dining and service areas, support food service, and assist servers in creating a positive dining experience. The role requires the ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to lift, balance, and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean tables and work areas.
Assist in food preparation.
Maintain the stock and cleanliness of workstations.
Remove glasses, dinner dishes, and silverware from occupied tables.
Clear empty tables of linens, dishes, and debris, and place items in proper areas.
Reset tables.
Deliver food to tables and check food for accuracy.
Replenish food and beverages.
Take additional orders when required.
Carry trays of dirty dishes to the dish room and break down trays according to procedures.
Clean spills and breakage immediately.
Keep floors clean and dry.
Ensure windows and glass surfaces are spotless.
Clean service stations and fill ice bins.
Assist servers with all aspects of service as requested to create a positive dining experience.
Meet appearance, attendance, and punctuality expectations and standards communicated verbally and/or in writing.
