About The Position

The Busser / Runner supports dining-room and kitchen operations at STK San Juan, a modern steakhouse and lounge within The Condado Collection. The role helps deliver attentive hospitality by keeping dining areas clean and orderly, assisting wait staff and kitchen staff, and responding to guest needs. The position requires working efficiently under pressure, maintaining professional standards, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Hospitality-oriented.
Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Technical food and beverage knowledge and expertise.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in dining areas while supporting wait staff and the kitchen team.
Clear and reset tables promptly to support efficient turnover and cleanliness.
Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to dining areas and assist with additional guest requests.
Keep utensils, napkins, condiments, and other necessary supplies stocked and readily available.
Perform regular cleaning tasks, including wiping tables, chairs, and other surfaces, and sweeping and mopping floors.
Assist kitchen staff by running food orders, organizing dishware, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
Secure items and storage areas at the end of each closing shift and complete closing duties.
Prepare a daily purchasing list to maintain healthy inventory levels as directed by the manager.
Follow safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; and complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and protect confidential proprietary information.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
