About The Position

The Busser/Food Runner maintains the dining area by clearing glasses and cleaning common areas quickly and efficiently while providing exceptional service. The role supports servers with food delivery, keeps tables and surrounding areas clean and ready for guests, and completes assigned dining-area and dish-area tasks before the end of each shift. Compensation is $16.50 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Responsible Beverage Service Card.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must treat associates and guests respectfully and exhibit integrity.
Must have excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Must work well under pressure and complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Must be able to lift and carry a tray weighing up to 50 pounds through a busy dining area.
Must be able to stand for long periods and work up to 8 hours per shift.

Previous Busser experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a smile and respond to requests promptly, in a friendly and courteous manner.
Bring water to tables promptly and replenish drinks before guests need to request refills.
Assist servers with food delivery, ensuring food is served at the proper temperature and quality.
Pre-bus tables between courses, removing or adding necessary tableware.
Clear tables after guests depart and clean tables, chairs, and floors for arriving guests.
Notify the host/hostess and food server when a table is ready.
Empty linen bags, take out trash, organize the dish area, polish glassware, and perform other duties assigned by management.
Complete all duties before the end of the shift.
Focus throughout the shift, troubleshoot, and prioritize tasks.
Understand and follow Hawks View Values and Service Standards.
Help ensure the safety of guests and associates.
Follow company environmental standards and treat associates and guests respectfully.
Exhibit integrity and perform other duties as required by the manager.
