About The Position

As a Busperson for La Pizza & La Pasta at Park MGM, you will support a lively, high-energy dining experience by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service. You will keep the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up areas, and beverage stations stocked, clean, and well-organized, working with the service team to anticipate operational needs and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

The role includes supporting servers, preparing and resetting tables, removing used dishes and linens, coordinating table turnover with the service team, serving and replenishing beverages, and keeping dining room floors clean.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware and set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linens, condiments, and accessories; fold napkins and ensure ashtrays are clean and available in designated smoking areas.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth and chair cushions and tables, then reset them with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and other required tabletop items.
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from tables and bring them to the kitchen for proper washing; dispose of trash in designated receptacles.
• Coordinate table availability and communicate with servers, the hostess, and management to ensure efficient table turnover.
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, and refill them as needed.
• Ensure dining room floors are clean and free of debris.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of restaurant areas, including the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up areas, and beverage stations.
