About The Position

California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Pasta Cook to prepare food and help deliver memorable guest dining experiences in a fun, dynamic team environment. The role maintains food quality and sanitation standards while preparing pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items accurately and on time. Cooks prepare station items, support line checks, complete prep par sheets each shift, handle food and equipment safely, maintain proper equipment temperatures, and complete station opening, closing, and side work duties. Related experience or training of three to six months is required. The posted pay range is $18.00–$23.00. Certain benefits are available if coverage requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Prepare pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support the line-check process and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare necessary items for the assigned station.
• Practice and teach safe, sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain proper equipment temperatures.
• Perform station opening and closing duties and side work each shift.
• Prioritize guests and contribute to a memorable dining experience by following the CPK High 5.
