About The Position

The Bus Person is responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s dining room, storerooms, food pickup area, and beverage station in accordance with cleanliness and stocking standards. The role supports servers and helps provide guest service by preparing and resetting tables, clearing dishes, serving beverages, and keeping the dining area clean. The position is based at Park MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada, and offers a starting rate of $20.7326 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to work on-call, varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of relevant experience, preferably in a restaurant as a busperson or food runner.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware and set tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linens, condiments, and accessories; fold napkins and ensure clean ashtrays are available in designated smoking areas.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth and chair cushions and tables, then reset them with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and other needed tabletop items.
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from tables and take them to the kitchen for washing; dispose of trash in designated receptacles.
• Coordinate table availability and communicate regularly with servers, the hostess, and management to support efficient table turnover.
• Serve and refill water, coffee, and soft drinks as needed.
• Keep dining room floors clean and free of debris.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
