About The Position

As an on-call Barista at Park MGM Starbucks, you will prepare and serve beverages and food while creating positive guest experiences. The role includes accurately handling orders and payments, maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards, stocking supplies, and completing opening or closing duties based on shift assignment. You may address guest complaints within your authority and refer other issues to management or the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work varied, on-call shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of barista or coffee shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and place orders, and efficiently and accurately serve and garnish food and drinks in the work area as applicable.
• Collect money while following cash-handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the front and back of house; clear tables and counters and clean the dining area without interfering with guest comfort.
• Pack orders according to guest preferences and include necessary condiments.
• Label and date products according to safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock them in designated storage areas; organize, maintain, and replenish products at workstations, counters, and tables as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise refer them to management.
• Notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
