About The Position

As a Barista, you prepare quality beverages and create a positive customer experience. You craft coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and procedures, maintaining consistency and presentation throughout the day.

The role includes keeping the work area clean and safe, restocking supplies, and ensuring equipment and service areas are ready for use. You work with team members to maintain an efficient workflow, particularly during busy periods.

You greet customers, take orders, answer questions, and help make each visit positive through consistent, attentive, and approachable service. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperature environments. Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service and follow up on customer requests and questions.
• Follow recipes and procedures accurately to maintain quality and consistency.
• Prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• Have familiarity with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing service demands.
• Safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment according to established guidelines.
• Stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.
• Be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established methods.
