Business Systems Analyst (IT / AI / S/4HANA)
About The Position
This role involves leading the Finance workstream for an S/4HANA implementation and stabilization, defining reporting requirements, chart of accounts, and data structures. The position will also coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user readiness, and post-go-live enhancements, while driving the adoption of standardized finance processes. Additionally, the role focuses on identifying and implementing AI/automation opportunities in finance processes, deploying advanced dashboards and KPI frameworks, and enabling tools like Power BI, Fabric, and Copilot for scalable insights. The Business Systems Analyst will build automated reporting for key drivers such as inventory, AR/AP, and cost drivers. The role also entails designing scalable reporting models that integrate SAP and other systems, ensuring data governance, integrity, and consistency across divisions, and translating business needs into technical/reporting solutions. Furthermore, the analyst will assess financial/operational processes, identify control gaps, implement technology-enabled controls and monitoring solutions, and improve reporting speed, accuracy, and transparency. A key responsibility includes standardizing and enhancing vendor callback confirmation processes using automation and AI-supported workflows to strengthen financial controls and audit traceability. Key relationships will be with Corporate IT & SAP teams, Finance leadership & divisional stakeholders, and cross-functional teams (Ops, HR).
Requirements
- Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Finance with systems focus
- Experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred)
- Hands-on AI / BI tools (Power BI, Fabric, Copilot, etc.)
- Strong data modeling, integration, and automation skills
- Background in IT-enabled finance or transformation roles
