About The Position

The Business Process Automation Analyst is responsible for identifying, developing, and supporting automation solutions that improve reporting efficiency, streamline business processes, and reduce manual work across the organization. This role works closely with business stakeholders to document requirements, evaluate automation opportunities, and implement practical solutions using reporting tools, workflows, and emerging AI technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in analytics, reporting, business systems, automation, or process improvement.
  • Experience using Excel and reporting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Exposure to Python or scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI agents.
  • Experience documenting business processes and requirements.
  • Financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and manual business processes.
  • Develop and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and data workflows.
  • Create and support automated notifications, alerts, and scheduled reporting processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated processes and reporting.
  • Document current business processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Perform process mapping and workflow analysis.
  • Support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Monitor automation performance and recommend enhancements.
  • Evaluate and test AI-powered tools and automation technologies.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of AI agents and workflow automations.
  • Support users in adopting AI-enabled solutions.
  • Stay informed on emerging automation and AI capabilities.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, SQL, and related tools.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance testing.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.
  • Prepare summaries and documentation for business users and leadership.
  • Partner with Operations, Analytics, IT, Risk, and other business teams.
  • Provide updates on automation projects and enhancements.
  • Educate users on new automation solutions and reporting tools.
  • Maintain documentation and process guides.
