About The Position

The Business Operations Manager is a hands-on business partner who helps delivery leaders manage the operational health of government and commercial services programs. The role connects program data to business decisions by monitoring revenue, margin, forecasts, delivery milestones, and risk. The position works closely with delivery, sales, finance, accounting, contracts, HR, procurement, and operations teams and supports executive and delivery leaders across national security, federal, and commercial portfolios. This individual contributor role oversees project controls and program and portfolio performance reporting, including revenue, cost, margin, backlog, forecasts, staffing, utilization, and other KPIs. The manager monitors execution against financial plans, schedules, customer commitments, contractual requirements, and internal targets; identifies performance variances and emerging risks; and recommends corrective actions or escalation. The role partners directly with the Chief Delivery Officer and Managing Directors, translates complex metrics into clear business implications, and presents findings and recommendations to leaders. The position also coordinates with Finance and Accounting on financials, forecasting, budget performance, margin analysis, and data integrity; partners across delivery and business functions on planning and program requirements; supports contract and program governance; and improves repeatable processes, reporting tools, templates, and controls. It requires managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
