About The Position

The Business Operations Manager is a hands-on business partner who supports delivery leaders in managing the operational health of government and commercial services programs. The role connects program data to business decisions by monitoring revenue, margin, forecasts, delivery milestones, and risk. It works across delivery, sales, finance, accounting, contracts, HR, procurement, and operations, supporting executive and delivery leaders across national security, federal, and commercial portfolios. The position oversees project controls and recurring analysis and reporting on program and portfolio performance. It monitors execution against financial plans, delivery schedules, customer commitments, contractual requirements, and internal targets; identifies variances and risks; and recommends corrective actions or escalation. The manager translates complex program metrics into clear business implications, prepares and presents executive-ready dashboards and materials, and coordinates with cross-functional partners on financials, forecasting, resourcing, governance, and program requirements. The role also improves repeatable operating processes, reporting tools, templates, and controls across the delivery organization. This is an individual contributor role requiring independent work, strong cross-functional relationships, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines. The role is hybrid for office-based employees. Eligible office locations include New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, McLean, and Washington, DC. The position may be eligible for an annual bonus based on enterprise and individual performance.
