This is a paid internship position and compensation is based on the minimum wages of Washington, DC. To participate in our internship program, interns must commit to working a minimum of 20 hours per week, not to exceed 30 hours per week. The Intern provides support to the Business Operations Department. Specific duties may include the following: Support asset tracking and management for corporate equipment Support coordination with operations, office, and IT vendors, and interact with all departments within the company Research applicable compliance regulations; assist in the drafting of company policies Assist in preparing and coordinating all logistical and communication aspects of company-sponsored events management, including research, BEOs, timelines, calendars, reports, diagrams, etc. Research and draft business operations content for intranet and weekly newsletter Support office management functions such as vendor coordination, kitchen schedules, and ordering and restocking of supplies Perform general administrative duties related to operations support Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
