About The Position

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support the daily business operations, financial management, and strategic vision of the department leadership team. The position reports to the Director of Business Operations and is based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, with a hybrid in-office and remote working schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of professional experience.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Strong technical skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, outstanding judgment, and a strong service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory management, matter budget development, pricing support, and performance analysis.
• Develop financial and business analyses using Qlik, MS Access, MS Excel, and/or other financial software.
• Create financial and statistical models and other tools to enhance and streamline reporting processes.
• Contribute to annual budget preparation and subsequent quarterly variance reporting and analysis.
• Support special projects and initiatives at the request of department leadership.
