About The Position

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support the daily business operations, financial management, and strategic vision of the department leadership team. The position is based in the firm's Philadelphia office and follows a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule. It reports to the Director of Business Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• One to two years of professional experience.
• Strong technical skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent financial and analytical skills, including demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, outstanding judgment, and a strong service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory management, matter budget development, pricing support, and performance analysis.
• Develop financial and business analyses using Qlik, MS Access, MS Excel, and/or other financial software.
• Create financial and statistical models and other tools to enhance and streamline reporting processes.
• Contribute to annual budget preparation and subsequent quarterly variance reporting and analysis.
• Provide support for special projects and initiatives at the request of department leadership.
