About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking a technically strong, experienced professional who enjoys teaching to join its Enterprise Analytics team as a Business Intelligence Developer, Analytics Trainer. The role helps developers and analysts across the organization learn the analytics toolset, develop data-storytelling skills, and build flexible, reusable reports that support decision-making. The successful candidate will bring Power BI expertise, a passion for data storytelling, and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly while helping foster a culture of data literacy. The position designs, develops, enhances, and maintains training programs and learning paths for developers and analysts. It works with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and reporting platform administrators to build and deliver training, support onboarding, establish technology guidance and standards, and keep the team current on Epic Cogito, Power BI, Databricks, and AI tools. The role also assesses training effectiveness and improves programs based on feedback. This is a full-time role scheduled for 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE), Monday through Friday on days. The position is based at the Support Services Building in Onalaska, Wisconsin, and may be performed onsite, hybrid, or remotely. Remote employment is available only to residents of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Starting pay is $70,000 per year, with the possibility of higher pay based on experience. Emplify Health may fill the position at various experience levels.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
Analytical training experience, including experience with Epic Cogito, Power BI, Databricks, Azure cloud platforms, AI, data literacy, data enablement, and data governance.
Experience writing SQL and working with Databricks.
Experience teaching, training, or facilitating, with knowledge of effective instructional design.
Experience with modern training methods and virtual delivery tools.
Strong data storytelling, visual design, and analytical reasoning skills.
Familiarity with AI tools used for analytics.
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience is preferred.
Cogito knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with Epic tools including Healthy Planet and SlicerDicer is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain training programs and learning paths for developers and analysts.
Build and maintain training content and programs in the analytics learning platform, using AI tools to create course outlines, handouts, and assessments.
Lead the Analytics Community and host lunch-and-learn sessions for developers and analysts.
Teach analytical concepts, data storytelling, and visual design that leads to action.
Teach developers to build flexible, filterable reports that can answer many questions.
Help define and teach guidance and standards for the technology stack.
Help onboard new developers.
Measure training effectiveness and improve programs based on feedback.
Write clear, accessible guides and documentation.
Work with reporting platform administrators to stay current on Epic Cogito, Power BI, Databricks, and AI tools, and bring new features to the team.
