About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking an experienced, technically strong professional who enjoys teaching to join its Enterprise Analytics team as a Business Intelligence Developer, Analytics Trainer. The role helps developers and analysts across the organization learn the analytics toolset, practice effective data storytelling, and build flexible, reusable reports that support decision-making. The position designs, develops, enhances, and maintains training programs and learning paths for developers and analysts. It works with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create training content, lead the Analytics Community, teach analytical concepts and report design, support onboarding, establish technology guidance and standards, assess training effectiveness, and maintain clear documentation. The role also collaborates with reporting platform administrators to stay current on Epic Cogito, Power BI, Databricks, and AI tools and share relevant capabilities with the team. The position is full-time, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE), with a Monday–Friday day schedule. It is based at the Support Services Building in Onalaska, Wisconsin, with onsite, hybrid, or remote work available. Remote employment is limited to residents of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Starting compensation is $70,000 per year, with the possibility of higher pay based on experience. Emplify Health may fill the position at different experience levels.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
Analytical training experience, including experience with Epic Cogito, Power BI, Databricks, Azure cloud platforms, AI, data literacy, data enablement, and data governance.
Experience writing SQL and working with Databricks.
Experience teaching, training, or facilitating, with knowledge of effective instructional design.
Experience with modern training methods and virtual delivery tools.
Strong data storytelling, visual design, and analytical reasoning skills.
Familiarity with AI tools used for analytics.
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain training programs and learning paths for developers and analysts.
Build and maintain training content and programs in the analytics learning platform, using AI tools to develop course outlines, handouts, and assessments.
Lead the Analytics Community and host lunch-and-learn sessions for developers and analysts.
Teach analytical concepts, data storytelling, and visual design that leads to action.
Teach developers to build flexible, filterable reports that can answer multiple questions.
Help define and teach guidance and standards for the technology stack.
Help onboard new developers.
Measure training effectiveness and improve programs based on feedback.
Write clear, accessible guides and documentation.
Work with reporting platform administrators to stay current on Epic Cogito, Power BI, Databricks, and AI tools and bring new features to the team.
